We took some family pictures up the canyon while my family was in town. My sister, Kayla, took the pictures while my mom stood behind the camera acting like a goofball so the kids would smile. We were a sight to be seen. Here's how family pictures go (and correct me if I'm wrong), sternly telling everyone to hold still, smile big, look at the camera, put your arms done, get your fingers out of your nose, stop whining, okay say cheeese!! And then we get a picture where we look like the happiest, most perfect family right?
We were not the happiest, most perfect family when we took these. Just so you know.
But in the end, it was worth it. And even if only 4 of the 400 turned out, I'm still happy we tortured ourselves for an hour. I want to look back at these pictures and remember how crazy and fun this stage of motherhood is. Because it is crazy fun.
