Apple Picking

This morning was cold and rainy, but that didn't stop us from going apple picking anyways! We're Oregonians now and we love the rain.

The kids and Nick and I had a blast. It was such a cute little farm close to our house and the trees were super low to the ground so the kids had no problem picking the apples.
We picked honeycrisp apples, the best apples in my opinion. The kids call them candy apples because they are so sweet.
Emery loves being right in the action of everything and helping.
It didn't take long before she was chomping away on all the apples.
Then we did some portraits.
Oh how I live for our weekend adventures. And I have just really been loving Oregon a LOT lately. Not that I didn't love it before, but I've just been thinking it's the absolute best place to live and raise kids. We're close to the mountains, the beach, the city, the farm, the lakes, the rivers, the desert, anything! It's all within a 2 hour drive. Amazing. So much to do and see, and we plan on doing it all.
