Antelope Island

Over the weekend we checked Utah's Antelope Island State Park off of our travel list. We saw lots of bison, some antelope, and a coyote. That picture of the coyote was worth the trip alone. We were headed back home and that little guy just happened to mosey out of the bushes onto the road right as we were approaching. I grew up in Arizona and had never come so close to a coyote, so I was pretty excited about it.

It was a nice, long drive and the kids were awesome, especially considering that all we did was drive, take pictures, and drive some more. Poor Benson just stayed in his carseat for most of it, but he was happy with his snacks and view from the car.

We love day trips, and this one was a good one.
