Oh Life, I Love You.

::Thoughts::
Kenzie got a scooter for her birthday and she is in love. She rides it in the house, to the park, on our walks, everywhere. I couldn't wait to get it for her after I saw all the cute, little Italian toddlers riding them in Italy. They don't do double strollers. They do scooters. Love it. Benson is a little unsure of it still.

Kenzie has also been obsessed with climbing the doorframe. Which freaks me out because I use to do the same exact thing when I was little. It's creepy how much of a mini me she is. I absolutely love it of course, but it's so weird watching yourself grow up.

We were feeding the birds at Sugar House Park and as we were getting in to the car, who should drive by? The Tillamook ice cream tour VW bus!!! I was embarrassingly showing my excitement. They gave out free samples we took a lot of pictures.

Benson is a mama's boy. Always has been and I hope he always will be. He needs me. He loves to have me near and when we stay too long anywhere other then home, he comes up to me and says, "home!" He's not so sure about socializing yet. Which is fine by me. I'm a loner at heart too.

We've been going for walks (whenever the bipolar Utah weather is nice) and my favorite walks are through the cemetery. I love cemeteries. Is that weird? My mom grew up with a cemetery right behind her house and she would tell us about playing in the cemetery all the time as a child. I love how peaceful and quiet they are. I love reading the names on the tombstones and wondering who these people were. We also spotted 3 owls in a tree! So it was a very exciting walk.

I finished some goals this past month. I made my first knit blanket and I did a month of Whole30. I love goals. They make me realize I can do anything I set my mind up to do. And thinking I need to do another Whole30, because it's too easy to slip back into bad eating habits.
