This is the Place Part 2

We toured Brigham Young's house at This is the Place Heritage Park.
The porch wraps around the entire house. Dream porch!
They chose the color pink because it was an expensive color at the time. Brigham Young did not actually live in this home, but used it to entertain important guests and to have social gatherings.
The women would make their own fabric (amazing!) and then sew their own dresses. Someday I would love to own a loom and learn how to weave fabrics and rugs.
 Dreamy kitchen. Those windows!

We also toured a quilt and lace museum. I am in love with the colors and pattern on this quilt.
Again, someday I will have the patience and time to learn how to tat and make lace. It's such a lost art and it's so beautiful.
This is the place! We loved our day here.
