Our Trip to This is the Place Part 1

Kenzie requested a pony ride and train ride for her birthday so we went to This is the Place Heritage Park. We'd never been before and it was so much fun. They have their baby animals out right now and the kids loved it. Family days=the best days.
Those faces. ^
Benson finally was brave enough to touch the chick. And then he squeezed it's neck. ^
Baby goats! ^
The "it's a baby horse not a pony according to Kenzie" pony ride.
Kenzie loved all the little playhouses.
There were a bunch of old houses, shops, buildings that you could play in and Kenzie had fun in this old school house. She was the teacher and got to boss us around without getting into trouble.^
Hammering some fun shapes into a leather strip.^
Old church building and play train. And those blossoms! Please stick around spring.^
Benson was a little nervous about his pony ride. ^
An old fashion candy shop. They had giant jawbreakers! Please tell me you remember hiding them in your desk in elementary school and licking it for months until you reached the center. No? I almost bought one. ^
On our train ride. I love this little mini me. She now will point out hippie buses and scream, "a hippie bus!" and does the peace sign in most of her pictures. So proud. She is independent, loves learning about animals, loves to be loud and crazy, is such a sweet big sister, sticks up for her brother, loves books and baking, loves going to church and having family night, has amazing negotiating skills, and loves going to lots of places. I love this little family of mine.
